About
AI that Gulf organisations can own outright.
SHARQ builds private, Arabic-first AI for banks, government and regulated firms in the Gulf. It runs inside each customer’s own infrastructure, learns from their own records, and stays theirs.
The founders.
SHARQ was founded in Dubai by three co-founders. Write to any of them directly.

Ronit Dhansoia
Co-founder, SHARQ
Ronit Dhansoia is a co-founder of SHARQ, the Dubai company building sovereign, Arabic-first AI for banks, government and regulated enterprises in the Gulf. SHARQ’s products keep data, models and prompts inside each customer’s own infrastructure, and are designed in Arabic from the first line rather than translated into it.

Aman Kumar
Co-founder, SHARQ
Aman Kumar is a co-founder of SHARQ and looks after the commercial side: how a pilot is scoped and priced, and the terms that let a customer keep the model it pays for. SHARQ does not quote savings in advance. Every engagement starts with a pilot fee and is judged against the numbers the customer already reports, with compute billed at cost and the weights the customer's to keep.

Suryavir Kapur
Co-founder, SHARQ
Suryavir Kapur is a co-founder of SHARQ and leads its technology: the engine that fine-tunes and serves each customer's model on their own infrastructure, the layer that connects it to their systems with every permission respected, and the evaluation suites that score Gulf, Levantine and Egyptian Arabic before anything is released.
What we hold to.
Five commitments that shape every product and every pilot. They are how we work, not what we aim for.
Your data stays where it lives.
Training, evaluation and serving run in your racks, your cloud account or in-region. Not the data, not the weights, leave the country.
Arabic first, never translated.
Models are fine-tuned on Gulf, Levantine and Egyptian conversations and scored on dialect evals before anything is released.
You own what you pay for.
Compute is billed at cost and the weights are yours to keep. You could walk away tomorrow with everything intact.
No savings promised in advance.
Every pilot is judged on a number your business already reports, against a scorecard agreed before work starts.
Every action leaves a trail.
From a dataset import to a model promotion, each step lands in an audit trail your governance team can read and export.
Three products. One boundary.
Each one runs where the customer’s data lives, and together they take an organisation from raw records to a model its people use every day.
Who we build for.
Organisations where the volume is high, the language is local and the data is not allowed to leave.

SHARQ, from Dubai.
SHARQ means “east” in Arabic: the direction the sun rises. The name is the brief. AI for the region should be built in the region, fluent in the Arabic its people actually write and speak, and run entirely inside its own infrastructure.
